Maya'Strology is the culmination and combination of many different cultures similar philosophies. Coincidentally 'Maya,' or Mayan for short, is defined as, "The supernatural power wielded by demons and gods to produce illusions," or thereby manifest them.

 

My belief is that instead of the Mayan and Chinese calendars being alike, the 13 Mayan Galactic Tones ARE the Chinese Zodiac Animals, including the Cat.
